Competition alert! We are almost there to see every group presents their own invention. #BNDC2019 fourth day begins with mentors share their expertise with participants by having group discussion. Each group are very active consulting about the development of their innovation to three of our experts, Tungga Dewi Winarno, Gusti Akbar Rodzi Sarjana, and Iqbal Firdaus about possible business development in the future, electrical and mechanical energy using renewable energy, and their project data analysis. After one hour of mentoring, everybody is getting ready for the hackathon. We are counting down to 24 hours by 10am and each group started to build their technology prototype.
We have been impressed to see all the participants from all over Indonesia are really passionate and enthusiastic to undertake their own innovation with affordable materials. We had the first group from Agrowth, these two girls from Makassar with their innovation Masagena drying machine. A simple innovation but highly beneficial for Indonesian farmers to reducing cost production and energy with simple materials from cork, stainless plastic and bucket. The second group is Gargama from Yogyakarta who also concerned about Indonesia’s agriculture. This group who consist of three youths from different backgrounds build their own prototype TOYA water monitoring with ice cream steak, Arduino, water flow sensor, and flanel tube.
Our third group is from Malang, East Java with ASHEP, Accelerator System for Fertilizer and Energy by Horticulture. They are implementing two methods, pre-treatment and reacting with the box control from plastic Tupperware and cup as the chamber.
Fourth group is Marine electrical PPNS with their prototype goals coming from community electrical issue and landslide at the same time in their village in Munjungan . Their project innovation is to build a micro hydro with PVC pipe, acrylic, and six bottles as the prototype trial.
The fifth group is Widipa with their project multipurpose drying machine. Same as previous group, they are also creating their prototype by seeing the fruit sales are really detrimental for the farmers in the peak season. This drying machine prototype made of plywood, aluminum foil and stainless stray. The last group is Patriot Energi Insani who are generating electricity by utilizing biogas. Their prototype is made of Jelly, pipe, and paddy straw.
